This year I made the decision to walk 30 miles on the SW Coast Path in Cornwall. Inspired by my turning 30 and also wanting to achieve this goal despite chronic health. You can follow my journey on my blog by clicking below.

Sharing my love for Cornwall and Photography

Welcome to Art of the Sea. There's nothing I love more that exploring Cornwall with my camera in hand capturing all that I love about the place. Creating memories to look back on so that each time I look at them, it takes me back to that very moment. Here I will be sharing my travels and the places I have come to love.

What is it that inspires you? For me, it’s Cornwall. I love writing about my passions, what interest me, places that I have discovered, what makes me happy.

The Cambridgeshire Fens is where I currently call home. It's where I was born and raised and I still live in the same village I grew up in. However, from a very young age, I have loved the sea. There's not a day that goes by that I do not crave time by the sea. It is the dream that one day I will call Cornwall my true home. When I come back, I feel at home.

Whenever I am in Cornwall, you will always find me with my camera. Because it is so far from home, I feel I have to capture as much as I can to encapsulate the feelings as something to look back on and cherish. So I can look back and be transported to the very moment behind the photo.

The reason for starting this blog is so I can combine my loves for Cornwall, photography and writing in one place. I also hope that it can be a useful resource to those travelling to Cornwall and scouting for photography locations.
